Please note that this version of StudioTax cannot be used to generate a NETFILE
return for individual users. For NETFILE software, please download the individual version.
You need a CRA Efiler registration number and an Efiler password to be able to use
StudioTax Enterprise to electronically file 2011 tax returns using the CRA EFILE services. Please note that the Efiler number and Efiler password are
different from the NETFILE access code that CRA send by mail. Please visit CRA web site
to learn more about Efiler number/password and on how to become a CRA registered
Efiler. If you do not have an Efiler number, then you still can use StudioTax Enterprise to prepare, print and mail returns.
Download location:
If your system does not have Microsoft .Net 2.0 framework, then the installer
will download and install it. In that case, a reboot may be required and you
may need to restart the install again since only the .Net framework would have been
installed after the reboot.
Exclusion
StudioTax Enterprise can handle most of the tax situations. However, the 2011 version does not handle Form T1273 STATEMENT A - Harmonized CAIS Program Information and Statement of Farming Activities for Individuals.
Also, StudioTax Enterprise supports all provinces and territories at the exception of Quebec provincial tax. For Quebec residents, you can only prepare and Efile/print the Federal tax.
System Requirements
StudioTax requires Microsoft .Net 2.0 or higher. If your computer does not have
the required .Net version, then the install will attempt to download and install
.Net 2.0 SP2. If the install fails because .Net framework is not installed, then download and install
Microsoft .Net framework. Click on Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 SP2 to go to Microsoft download site.
