Creating a new Return

The wizard is used to create new returns by guiding you through the first few steps and capturing all the mandatory necessary information. You need to complete all fields marked with a red star. After providing the required information you can quit the wizard and enter any additional tax information using the supported forms.
Note that some information required by the wizard may not appear on the tax forms. This information is required to build a valid Netfile file or, for printed returns, it will be encoded in the 2D Bar code.

Wizard

The wizard captures the most common tax information. Many tax returns can be handled through the wizard only. Unless you have a complicated tax return, you should be able to provide all the information through the wizard, and you will only need to verify the information by browsing through the various forms. Before printing or using Netfile make sure to browse through the various forms to ensure that all your tax data is entered properly.
