Create a new return - Entering tax info
The next few pages will be used to choose the appropriate T Slips and enter the detailed amounts for each TSlip and receipts we indicated on the previous page. Note that from this point on you can exit from the wizard by left clicking on the "Finish" button and create a new return. This will mean that any T Slips or Tax forms required will have to be filled in later, these are accessible from within the program itself. However if you left click on the "Cancel" button, then you will exit the wizard, not creating a new return as well as all the data you had entered up to that point will be lost.

The first page is for choosing the TSlips and Tax forms you may require to fill out your return. The Slip number will be the same as the number found on the TSlip paper form. Once all Slips and Forms required have been selected, left click on the "Next>" button.

Enter the amounts from the corresponding numbered boxes on your T4 slips onto the numbered lines of the T4 screen. Note that StudioTax supports up to 20 TSlips for each TSlip type. For example you can enter the data from 20 T4s. Use the blue navigation arrows, indicated by the number 1, to activate a given TSlip. By default, 2 TSlips are added. You may move between TSlips by left clicking and holding the left button down on your mouse on the slider and drag your mouse to the left or right.
Left Click on "Next>" after you entered all the T4s amounts.

At this page you enter the RRSP related data. Make sure to indicate your RRSP limit at the top of the page otherwise your claim will not be set.
Left click "Next>" to go to the charitable donation page:

The above page is used to enter the detailed list of your charitable donations. Just click under the amount heading and enter the amount. You also add a description for each item on the list. The total is added to Schedule 9 and claimed your return.
The Next few pages are used to enter various Federal and provincial credits that you can later enter directly to the Federal Schedule 1 or the provincial 428 and/or 479 forms:

These credits are also entry fields on the Federal schedule 1. Note that this page contains the most common credits but not all the credits. For all the possible credits or claims, you will need to review Schedule 1.
Press "Next>":

This page contains the common provincial credits. Since the province of residence was set to Ontario, this page lists the common credits from ON479. Other provinces have similar pages for their specific credits.
Press "Next>" to continue:

This is the last page of the wizard. Click finish to exist from the wizard and start reviewing and editing using direct form entry.
